Even as I am seething in anger over you..

There will always be a need to protect you..

But how do I protect you from yourself?



I have to let you lose, to hurt, to learn from your mistakes..

You make it so hard, reminding me time and time again I'm all you all have left..

But the burden that you want me to bear is too heavy and I'm already so weak from bearing it..

I don't have to give an ounce of it away, it flows through me night and day. I don't even have to think of it that way, it's the way it is, and the way it will stay. The ebb and flow, it seldom ceases, if ever it has; and I wouldn't understand the reasons. I don't want the knowledge anyway. Just let me live and let me play, I'm happy finding my own way. Life is such a joy, such a treasured toy, give me more and more and more of it, do you hear me? Give me more..LIFE. Such is this life for me, for me..I don't how you feel about it, but I feel free. Free knowing this is all I need to be; just me. And the Sun came out today, and the storm chased it away, and all I could feel was the wind that blew it in and I was comforted. I know I am alive, I don't even have to try, it's beautiful to be; Happy Me.
